Our 100 % pure borage oil is obtained from the seeds of the borage plant (Borago officinalis), also known as cucumber herb, by mechanical cold pressing without adding any heat. The high-grade ingredients, including at least 20 % gamma-linolenic acid and at least 35 % linoleic acid, are thus preserved in the best possible way. Because borage oil is very sensitive, it should not be heated, but is best enjoyed pure, as an addition to dressings or smoothies, and is also used for skin care.
