An all natural product made from the blue-green micro-algae "spirulina platensis". The spirulina algae, also called blue-green algae, grows particularly well in alkaline salt water as well as in fresh waters with temperatures above 37 °C. It is characterised by its ability to selectively absorb nutrients from the water via its surface.
